First winter - note barred uppertail coverts and largely blackish tail with faint spotting along edges in flight.

First winter (or is it 2nd?) - bird with a bill with pink base and dark tip.

Probably fourth winter plumage, with streaked head and in this bird black subterminal bill markings.

Adult, largely still in summer plumage.
