Turtle dove. 4 PSW 18/4. 23. Common swift. Common. 24. Common kingfisher. Male Moulia 14/4 (below). One E 15/4. 25. BLUE-CHEEKED BEE-EATER. I found three at E on the afternoon of 19/4. I watched them while hidden in a treeline until about 18.10h, when they called, gained height and flew N. I think this is a new species for me - I'd seen green bee-eaters in Israel previously, but these turned out to be little greens. The birds in Cyprus hawked bees and called a lot. 26. Hoopoe. Singles seen at PH, Moulia and near PSW. 27. Short-toed lark. Only a few seen - one Moulia 14/4, ca. 5 E 15/4, ca.8 PH 16/4. 28. Crested lark. Common. 29. Sand martin. One PH 20/4. 30. Swallow.
