More Mallorca birds

The commonest wader was probably the black-winged stilt. A resident pair on the scrape outside our villa were especially photogenic. Click on the image to see more stilt shots.

Water birds included breeding little grebes, and many red-crested pochards that have flourished succesfully through a reintroduction programme.
