2nd-16th. Holiday time on the Isles of Scilly. I rented a house overlooking the beach at Porthmellon, St Mary's and over the two weeks my daughters and I were joined by my girlfriend Lucie, my father-in-law, sister-in-law, and my friend Adrian Woodhall. As always, Scilly was magnificent. I missed the close-in Fea's petrel by two days, but did see the first Wilson's petrel in British waters this year.

Sunset shots: Bishop's Rock Lighthouse, fulmar, gannet and gulls.

Shearwaters: Manx, sooty and great, and storm petrel.

Skuas: great, Arctic and pomarine.

Gannet, common tern, Sabine's gull, shags, pectoral sandpiper, ocean sunfish
